Constellation Gods

Since the beginning of time they've been there for us.
For lowest of peasants, for priests, for kings of the past.
They gave the fire to warm us,
put game in the woods to feed our young ones.
They gave the purpose of being,
to better ourselves and ask for the stars.
Only through faith in our gods we got to survive
in those savage lands we were born in and managed to thrive.
The heretics fell down before us
arrows in their hearts and cries in their eyes.
Arrows soon changed into rifles.
We subdued our planet and turned our gaze into the stars.
Constellation Gods, they're living in the stars
watching all of their creation.
Children of them we are, and we have come far
praising the stars in their honour.
Slaves gave their lives for our dreams, the Gods-given boons.
Many years passed until our flag stood on our moons.
Still we were hungry for much more.
we saw all the wonders of our solar system.
Tirelessly working on our goal
we'd build a behemoth and embark to go to our gods.
The favour of Gods on our side our plans would not fail.
The fathers in stars watched upon their sons building the whale.
We were well prepared for the journey,
we fell the woods to feed our factories,
we levelled the mountains for metals,
we dried the seas and were ready to leave for the stars.
Constellation Gods, they're living in the stars
watching all of their creation.
Children of them we are, and we have come far
conquering the stars in their honour.
The day of the take-off has come, for that we rejoice
soon all our people will reap the fruits of our choice.
There is room for everyone, no one will be left behind
we all get to meet our Gods, so gentle and kind.

Ziggurat

I'm the harbinger of New Age begun after the exodus.
The prophet of Sagittarius, the merciless bane of tyrants.
The tyrants built a huge ship to roam the space, to roam the myths.
They left us slaves on this world, barren and empty of all.
Still the shipyard stands tall, the last symbol of oppression.
Millions of slaves worked to death on the spire of doom.
In streams the blood ran down its sides, the Rivers of Blood.
The foot of the spire turned red, the Crimson Fields.
Ziggurat
On the great day we were gathered to watch the tyrants leave.
An endless stream climbed the ramp of the Ziggurat.
Without a word the ship rose in a deafening rumble.
Enslaved so long we didn't know what to do with our freedom.
Ziggurat
Our day will come now when we're free to decide our own fate.
Only Ziggurat stands reminding us of the days of the tyrants.
Brick by brick and stone by stone we are tearing it down.
No matter how long it takes, it is going to fall.

Leviathan

For thousands and thousands of years she's been
on her journey through the stars with no end in sight.
The crew of this ancient ship is long gone.
They either fled or died during the millennia.
But still she ploughs the seas of stars,
her mission clear in her computer mind.
No one knows the origin
or the destination of this endless quest.
Leviathan
Wherever she is seen she is an omen
of either good or bad, never in between.
Some view her as a god, some as a derelict
of times gone by forbidden and eerie.
And still she ploughs the seas of stars
her mission clear in her computer mind.
No one knows the origin
or the destination of this endless quest.
Leviathan
Will she plough the seas of stars eternally,
until the end of times?
Or will she reach her destiny
and find herself a place of peaceful rest?
