The Sun was lonely no-one could come near her.
Icarus tried, her warmth burned his wings away.
Then the Tempest came and sat down beside her
his words were sweet he could withstand her flames.
She fell in love with his charming gruffness.
He also told her how deep was his love.
She was happy for the first time in ages,
she didn't know his love was just for himself.
A Star in the Eye of the Storm
caught by the turmoil's firm grasp.
Strong yet so powerless,
a shade of its former glory.
Courted by the Tempest forceful and vigorous,
Sun thought she had all that she would ever want.
She focused only to please her beloved storm
while he worked toward a more vicious goal.
By the time Sun found out it was all too late,
Tempest had already made her his own.
Try as she might she could not hope to break free
from the sinister hold he had on her.
Then one day Sun felt she wouldn't stand him anymore,
she gathered her might, regained her light
and met the Tempest face to face, stared the Tempest in the eye,
filled the Tempest with disgrace, chased the Tempest on his way.
A Star in the Eye of the Storm
tearing apart her shackles.
Blazing and beautiful,
made the skies fair once more.
