lifts off the ground?
Are you a robot, unfeeling machine?
Or do you sweat a lot, does your helmet fill with steam?
Mr Spaceman, what's on your mind when the blackness of space opens up
around you?
Do you look at Earth, longing for home?
Or do you put on your jetpack and open the dome?
Mr Spaceman, what's on your mind when you aim the nose of your rocket
back down to Earth?
Do you think "a job well done"?
Or thank the gods for letting you go back home?
Mr Spaceman, what's on your mind when the rocket starts to burn in the
atmosphere?
Did you lead a good life, no looking back?
Or do you think of every mistake you made in your life?
Mr Spaceman in the clouds, job well done, now come back home.

To The Moon

Curiosity is the force driving us to explore
the depths of the seas, wild jungles, the poles and much more.
In a flimsy bucket, three men once flew to the Moon.
Bravery, skill and sheer luck aiding them along the road they had chosen,
not for faint of heart, their resolve is what set them apart.
All alone in the module, the three astronauts sat.
Only thin sheets of metal between the men and the black-as-pitch vacuum
that was colder than Finnish winter nights so long and deadly for the
travellers.
Still they finally arrived to the Moon.
The Eagle landed on the sea of Tranquility
on 20th of July and went down in history
as the first manned vessel to land on the Moon,
the pinnacle of human ingenuity.
Curiosity is the force driving us to explore

Once they had landed, they crawled into their suits,
left their little bucket for a stroll on the Moon.
A giant leap for mankind, the world saw it on TV. the flag reminding of
their esprit.
All alone in the module, the three astronauts sat.
Only thin sheets of metal between the men and the black-as-pitch vacuum
that was colder than Finnish winter nights so long and deadly for the
travellers.
Still they finally came back home.
The module was a shooting star in the upper atmosphere.
The flames licked the crew inside, but they felt no fear.
Their journey was over, their minds were at peace.
A man had stood on the moon for all humanity.

Toad

I lick the toad. I eat the toadstool. I burn the herb.
I inhale the smoke as I watch it rising in the sky, dancing with the wind.
It blows from the west where an ancient henge is standing tall after the
test of centuries.
Where stories are still told to those who listen and listen well.
My ears can hear the long gone druids and sages.
My eyes can see their ghosts in the courtyard. My nose smells the scents
so familiar to you and me.
They licked the toads. They ate the toadstools. They burned the herbs.
They inhaled the smoke and they watched it dancing in the sky. Great
minds think alike.

Green Frog

Green froggy frog frog opens his eyes.
His tummy is rumbling, a snack would be nice.
He stretches his legs, gets ready to move.
He flexes his tongue. "Good enough" he approves.
Sitting on a moon and ready to leap
over that sun into space so deep.
A master of its art, the jumping champ.
If it had a mantle, it would be cramped.
The biggest of ships are just tiny flies
to the Green Frog, just look at his size!
They don't see what's on until it's too late.
Froggy flips his tongue, woe the ships fate.
He needs his strength for an instinctive bond.
He's headed for a nebula known as the Pond.
There he fills his throat for a mighty croak.
It's mating season, you know that's no joke!
